Background of workshop:

On June 18 2023, Hon. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced to develop a Ved Vigyan Kendra at Naimisharanya , Uttar Pradesh; a place mentioned in the Mahabaharat and Puran. The objective of establishing the Vedic science center is to research and disseminate the preserved knowledge and wisdom of Ved and puranas. (Now is the time to inquire about the Absolute Truth) Constitution of Shri Naimisharanya Dham Teerth Vikas Parishad is a noble effort of the Uttar Pradesh government for the renovation and beautification of this holy abode of ancient sages where narration of mabharat happened. This is also in an effort of exploring the all possibilities of pilgrimage and religious tourism in the region.

Lord Shri Swaminarayan The distinguished Acharya of Rigveda, Shri Shaunak was the Kulguru of the “Naimisharanya Vidyalaya” where thousands of saints under his leadership ran different sessions for the prosperity of the Nation. Hence, “Naimisharanya” is synonymous with the “Centre of Learning”. Naimisharanya was such a pious, panoramic and blissful place where the exchange of knowledge, science, and academic meditation took place continuously. Thus, the name “Naimisharanya” is embodied with the knowledge, wisdom, and spirituality of our ancestors. Naimisharanya is the ashram of Rishi Dadhich too and the most pious place and center of knowledge, science, and academic meditation spotted by Manmoy Chakra of Lord Bramha.
